Japan Awaits (株式会社ジャパン・アウェイツ) is a fully licensed Travel Agency (神奈川県知事登録旅行業第2-1298号) and Destination Management Company (DMC), founded in 2016 and headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. With more than a decade of experience in inbound tourism, we specialize in designing, managing, and delivering exceptional travel programs and experiences throughout Japan. Our expertise covers every aspect of ground operations—including accommodations, transportation, guided tours, activities, and event management.
While we welcome direct clients, our primary focus is on B2B partnerships with international travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients. We collaborate closely with our partners to design seamless, high-quality travel experiences that reflect Japan’s unique cultural richness and modern sophistication.
Our extensive local network includes licensed, multilingual tour guides (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, and more), trusted transportation companies, hotels, ryokans, cultural specialists, and event venues. This enables us to deliver tailor-made itineraries and programs that meet the highest global standards of quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Our headquarters is located in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, with a nationwide network of hundreds of registered tour guides covering all 47 prefectures. This allows us to support travel programs and experiences across the entire country, from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
