Schedule
The Tsukiji food tour operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with start times at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Meeting Point
The experience takes place in Tsukiji Outer Market. The exact meeting point will be provided after booking.
Join-in Tour Minimum
The join-in tour requires a minimum of 6 participants to operate. If the minimum is not reached, our team will contact you before the tour to discuss available alternatives, which may include switching to a private tour or receiving a refund.
Tastings
Approximately 8–10 tastings are included. Exact items may change depending on seasonality, vendor availability, and market conditions.
Dietary Restrictions & Allergies
Individual food items cannot be modified to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies. Ingredient information for scheduled tastings will be provided so guests can decide which items they feel comfortable trying.
Vegetarian & Vegan Guests
This tour is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Many scheduled tastings include seafood and other animal-based ingredients, and alternative substitutions cannot be arranged.
Age Guidance
The tour is recommended for guests aged 12 and above. Younger children may participate when accompanied by a responsible adult.
Walking
The experience takes place on foot through the busy Tsukiji Outer Market. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Priority Service
Priority service applies only to selected participating vendors included in the scheduled route where Japan Awaits has arrangements for tour guests to bypass the usual wait.

Standard Cancellation Policy
- 20 days or less before the event: 25% cancellation fee
- 14 days or less before the event: 50% cancellation fee
- 7 days or less before the event: 100% cancellation fee
